The history of Ramshaw’s Ace Hardware begins in 1945 when two immigrates from Canada opened Ramshaw’s Hardware and Housewares on Main St. in Mount Shasta, California. Their son, Eldon went on to inherit the business, incorporate, and join the Ace Hardware corporation. Later on, Eldon’s youngest son, Bill, began to run the business while employing his brother Robb, and brother in law, Thom. Today, Ramshaw’s Ace Hardware remains in its original location on Main Street. On staff, they have ten family members of the Ramshaw family and remain family owned.
